Gas Price Relief is Here. Water for Gas Anyone?

The cost of gas has skyrocketed out of control. These high gas prices make filling up your gas tank equivalent to buying over a week’s worth of groceries, and at the moment it does not appear that relief is in sight.

Researchers in alternative energies had hoped that hydrogen would be a good fuel source, but it is incredibly expensive to extract and can be dangerous, so at the moment research into hydrogen is at a standstill. There are, however, other ways to power your engine’s car using hydrogen that can be implemented now, by everyday individuals without any automobile expertise.

Although pure hydrogen power may be at a standstill, the ability to use hydrogen to as an alternative energy is still very much alive, and many people have already begun using it as a form of fuel. Known as HHO gas (for 2 hydrogen, 1 oxygen, aka H2O), it is a form of fuel that uses hydrogen but is actually created by water.

HHO gas is created using what is known as an electrolyzer, which sends an electric charge from your battery into a container of normal tap water (H2O) and extracting out a hydrogen particle. This hydrogen particle is then used as fuel by your car in addition to the gasoline, thus allowing your car to have greater fuel efficiency with the same amount of gas.

Once the HHO gas has been used, it turns back into water. So not only are you getting more gas mileage from your car, you are also harming the environment less, making these makeshift hydrogen powered engines helpful for both you and the planet.

Eventually – when more research money is provided to those that are testing the uses for HHO technology, we can achieve a car that runs solely on water. These engine supplements are already working incredibly effectively with the little research they have received, and the results for a water powered car look hopeful.

Until that day, however, HHO technology is still a form of alternative energy that can help all of us save thousands at the pump. Using water to power cars has the potential to help reduce our dependence on foreign oil, lower the price of gas, and improve the health of the planet, all with a simple new energy source.

HHO gas may not be a completely new alternative energy source, but it is a great way to improve your gas mileage by almost 300% and save you a fortune at the gas pump! If you have ever hoped to run your car on water, the future is going to be in this kind of alternative energy.
