You will enjoy the many benefits of a gas golf car

posted in Auto Insurance News |

These days it is getting harder and harder to find a gas golf car for sale. You find electric golf cars just about everywhere you look. While gas golf carts may not enjoy the popularity that they once had they are still the perfect choice in many circumstances. One of the biggest advantages of a gas golf car is range. Since you are able to carry extra cans of gas while you travel your options are almost limitless. This is especially important if you will be using your golf car for farming or hunting.

There are a fairly high percentage of trail utility golf cars with gas engines for this very reason. Heavily used golf cars are also better when they have gas engines. It lets you spend a week end away from electrical power and makes it possible for you to drive at night with the lights on for longer periods of time. If you will be carrying heavy loads you will love the extra power that most gas golf cars give you.

Make sure you are aware of the laws and rules in your area before you purchase a gas golf car. There are some places that restrict the use of gas golf cars because of the pollution and noise that they can create. Electric gas cars are zero emission vehicles and are preferred in some places. Many of the newer gas golf cars feature four cycle engines which are cleaner burning than older two cycle models. While they are an improvement they are still not clean as electric. There is not much price difference between a gas golf car and an electric one. It is not so easy to find a used gas golf car these days. This is because most of the used golf cars out there come from golf courses and country clubs that have a preference for electric golf cars. If you do find a good gas golf car snap it up because it won’t be available for long.
