Latest Lotus proActive

posted in Daves Blog |

The latest edition of the proActive newsletter we produce for Lotus Engineering is now available for download. It includes an interesting article about some of the HEV and EV work that the company is doing, as well as a discussion of the underlying issues affecting developments in hybrids and electric vehicles. As Lotus concludes, there are fundemental legislation (regulatory) and infrastructure challenges that still need to be addressed.

There is also an interview I did with Ford's product man in Asia, Ian Constance. He's an engineer by training and provieds insight into the issues a big OEM is faced with in positioning product across such a diverse region. And again, he mentions the significance of the legislative side when discussing prospects for EVs and hybrids across Asia-Pac. And that is something that applies everywhere.
