Nano Argy Bhaji

posted in Daves Blog |

Sounds like it's been 'kicking off' lately at a still-under-construction Tata Nano plant in the troubled Indian province of West Bengal. Construction work at the plant has had to be 'indefinitely suspended' as local farmers there got a bit angry about losing their land and started intimidating contractors. Tata appears confident, thus far, that it has contingency plans in place that mean the Indian launch schedule for Nano is unaffected. Maybe that is so, but will costs go up though?
